V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. is owned by
David and Sonja Kobrin, a husband and wife team with an excellent
professional reputation in Palm Beach County, Florida. They work together
along with their team members to ensure that each client benefits from their combined areas of
expertise.
The Staff at V.I.P. each have unique specialties and qualifications.
Clients of V.I.P. Care Management benefit from this combined base of

Sonja W. Kobrin, M.P.S., C.M.C.
Sonja Kobrin holds bachelor and master degrees in psychology. With 20
years of experience in counseling, assessment, crisis intervention,
case management and community resources Mrs. Kobrin frequently speaks
to professional and radio audiences on health care, mental health and
care management topics. Mrs. Kobrin is care manager certified by the
National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. |

David A. Kobrin, C.M.C., E.M.T.P.
David Kobrin holds a degree in Business Administration Management and
state certifications in Florida Real Estate
Brokerage, Fire Inspector, and Emergency Paramedic. Mr. Kobrin has
worked in the emergency services field since 1981. Mr. Kobrin is care
manager certified by the National Association of Professional
Geriatric Care Managers. |

Arlene Amernick, Financial Accounts Manager – Arlene has worked with V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. since 1999. She is responsible for all office bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivables and human resources. Arlene is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and has lived in South Florida in 1991. |

Marta Strong, Benefit Programs Specialist – Marta is the Director our Benefit Programs Department which is responsible for all Medicaid, Disability and Veteran Pension assistance. Marta is originally from Cuba and speaks English and Spanish. She has worked with V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. since 2003. |

Toni Bolling, Care Manager – Toni is the lead care manager for V.I.P. Care Management, Inc.. Toni visits her clients on a regular basis to monitor their care, provide socialization, report back to their families. Toni coordinates all personal, medical, professional and domestic care services for our clients, provides care assessments and care plans to advise families about the needs of their elders. Toni graduated from Emmanuel College and speaks English and Italian. She has worked with V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. since 2000. |

Elisabeth “Ellie” Schlamkowitz , Data Manager – Ellie is responsible for data management for the company. Ellie is originally from Switzerland and speaks English and German. Ellie answers the phones at V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. and is often the first person whom our clients meet. |

Ervin “Dewey” Cherry , Director of Marketing and Client Intake –Dewey meets with elders and their families to perform assessments, determine Medicaid or Veteran benefit eligibility and help their families develop a plan of action for their loved one. Dewey worked in the nursing home and assisted living industry as an admissions coordinator for over twelve years. He is originally from Georgia and has worked with V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. since 2005 |

Anne- Marie Corso, Assistant Benefits Specialist – Annie is a paralegal. She works with Marta to assist families in applying for Medicaid, Veteran and Disability programs. She also meets with families to assess their eligibility for programs and represents those families in the process. Annie is originally from Connecticut and joined our team in 2008. |
The Kobrins have established a
comprehensive network of community professionals who can offer families
advice or assistance if needed. Included in this network are a range of
professions from law to nursing, house cleaning to home safety
modifications. Because of this community network approach to problem
solving, there is no service V·I·P Care Management cannot provide or
coordinate.
V.I.P. Care Management, Inc. receives referrals from area Nursing Homes,
Bank Trust Departments, Attorneys, Brokerage Firms, Physicians, Clergy,
State Agencies, Crisis Help Lines, Nursing Agencies and of course,
clients. They specialize in Medicaid Representation, Crisis Intervention
and the management of "difficult" or "unusual" situations. Each client
receives their personal attention. They strive to make each client feel
like one of the family. David and Sonja take pride in offering the most
comprehensive care management services in Palm Beach County at an
affordable price.
David and Sonja Kobrin have lived and worked in Palm Beach County since
the early 1980's. Their mission, shaped by personal experience with their
own elderly parents, is to advocate for their clients with the same
respect and diligence as they would their own family. |
